If you are physically fit, you can climb steep hills without physical stress.
If you are mentally fit, you can handle life’s great challenges without mental stress or other negative emotions’ Shirzad Chamine
Your mind is your greatest ally, it is also your worst enemy. Positive intelligence (PQ) measures the relative strength and fitness of your mind. High positive intelligence means your mind acts as your friend, low positive intelligence the reverse, that your mind acts against you. Many of the functions of the mind appear to be outside of conscious control. We can however, exert power over our thoughts and mind. Shirzad Chamine, calls this ability to exert power over and control our mind positive intelligence (PQ). He describes PQ as a measure of the strength of our positive mental fitness or muscle, (he calls this Sage) vs our negative mental muscle or fitness, (he calls this Saboteur). He describes the Saboteurs as invisible, habitual and often negative mind patterns that present as our friends but work against our best interests. He argues that the positive Sage characteristics such as empathy, curiosity, creativity, calmness and clear-headed laser focused action supports you in meeting all the challenges that you face. Through the use of the Sage you achieve better results together with high levels of personal satisfaction and happiness along the way. Breakthrough research by Shirzad Chamine, based on 500,000 participants suggests that positive intelligence (PQ) is a predictor of your mental fitness and how well you perform and how happy you are. Chamine’s research suggests that people that have high PQ are capable of performing up to 35% better than those with low positive intelligence. Chamine developed the framework for positive intelligence as a result of his desire to achieve greater personal success and peace and happiness in his own life.
